Sunday 4 Feb - Marking Out

I know all the clearing was essential but at last it felt like we were doing something constructive. In a little over two hours, we marked out the glade and spiral path using canes (plus Ric's previous experience, Tom's twine and Ellen's gemtle supervision) and then staked out the area for the initial planting.

We do have a large pile of logs in the middle that really ought to come out before the saplings go in, the hope is for a working party of six or so to move or cut up some of it in the next week or so.
